We can provide support to all involved in any of the proceedings listed below both beforehand and at the time.
This service is available to all participants in our Process Neutral Scheme.
Our aim is to facilitate or oversee discussions which could impact on people's jobs to enable fair and informed outcomes. Alternatively, if appropriate, we can invite participants to refer the issues to us for mediation.
The kinds of proceedings in which we can help are -
Sadly, we cannot help with allegations of crime, breaches of health & safety related matters or where someone's life or liberty is at risk.
Please understand that, as neutrals, we do not give legal advice and we don't assist anyone to 'case-build'.
Not understanding or fully appreciating all the issues and their impact causes wasted time and effort later.
We can help to ideify and clearly communicate the issues and their impact through 1:1 discussions resulting in agreed written statements which can be issued before the formal hearing or meeting date. This will help everyone concerned to understand and evaluate each other's position.
We can either conduct the formal hearing/meeting leaving the decision-maker free to focus on what is being said or we can oversee the occasion with all present being able to ask us for support regarding the process.
Although someone will presumably be taking notes of the formal hearing/meeting, we can - if requested - prepare agreed written position statements to enable the decision-maker to focus on all the relevant points.
We have no part in the decision-making. Therefore, there is no point in seeking to persuade of of the merits or otherwise of any particular point!
Please feel free to contact us to discuss how we may be able to assist - entirely on a confidential and without commitment basis.
